What are landmarks in Planet IX?

Landmarks are important locations with huge benefits for players, and each landmark is assigned a rarity tier and star rating based on its historical importance in the Planet IX universe.

This is how it works in practice:

• The ownership of the landmarks is distributed using landmark shares. The number of shares varies across the collection, from several thousand to a single share.

• Each landmark has an earning diameter, and the stakers of the specific landmark shares will be awarded the full marketplace fee (5% of the value of each trade) that occurs within this radius.

• The Landmarks are raffled off by Lucky Cat, one of the in-game corporations. The raffle tickets are included in special pack drops, airdrops, or other events.
