Why build Facilities?

There are five tiers of Facilities, congruent with the PIX tiers. A player may acquire a Facility through Newlands. To construct a Facility a player must pay the requisite cost in Astro Credits, Bio-M0ds and Blueprints and after having made the payment must also wait a certain time period for the construction to be completed. facilities are a key component in the Waters of Genesis season, as it is the only way to acquire Energy which can be staked for $IXT or PIX rewards.
